Who We Are
We are Zebulon United Methodist Church or as we commonly refer to it as ZUMC. We are located in the heart of downtown Zebulon, NC. ZUMC is an “OLD” church in terms of our inception and buildings dating back to 1907. However, we are excited about all the “NEW” things God is doing in and through us as we are gathering and growing our faith while serving our community. Here at ZUMC when we gather you will find a relaxing atmosphere full of friendly faces and a caring and compassionate congregation that will gladly welcome you. We have an array of ministries to meet the spiritual needs of all ages in your household, as well as ministries serving our neighbors within our community and beyond.
We are a Lighthouse Congregation
We are in the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, Heritage District. ZUMC is a Lighthouse Congregation in partnership with The United Methodist Collective and the Office of New Faith Communities.
Lighthouse Congregations are local churches in the North Carolina Conference that are particularly equipped and willing to be a caring and hospitable place that welcomes anyone whose church has closed or disaffiliated.
Sacraments
We believe in the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism.
Holy Communion is available to everyone and is offered on Sunday once a month. We also serve Communion at special holiday services, such as Maundy Thursday.
Baptism is available to anyone. If you are interested in baptism, contact the church office at 919-269-9408 for more information.
